This is my contact sheet for my photoshoot 'Aged' that was inspired by Horacio Guzman's Timeless Memories project. I decided to shoot in colour and then edit further to create the black and white effect through photoshop in order to meet my aims of mirroring Guzmans work. I took photographs of people's hands alongside photographs of them as children to show how they have 'aged' over time and to show the difference. I liked this idea because it shows lots of contrasts. For example; there is a difference between the quality of the old childhood photographs and the quality of the taken photographs, also there is a contrast between the people and how they have changed throughout the years.
I decdied to experiment with different angles of the photographs and different positions but decided that I liked the more traditional way of a birdseye view of the hands. This also helps because it mirrors the work of my artist Horciao Guzman and shows that I have been inspired by him to a further extent.
