For this photoshoot, I took photo's using long exposure. I experimented with different angles and shutter speed's to achieve the putcomes that i wanted. I placed the camera on a still surface and took the photo's from speeds of 0.5 - 5 seconds to be able to show different amounts of blur and have different perspectives on the photographs. I like the first photo as it shows a stationary place in which would usually be busy to look empty and ghost-like, this highlights my theme of desolation as it makes the surroundings in the picture seem empty.
The third photograph is a different type of experimentation from the word deolate. I decided to experiment with double exposure to give the sujects of the photograph a ghostly apperance but not blurred in contrast to the other photographs. This photo was taken without a tripod and therefore was hard to allign with the layers of the exposure over in order to create the faded layered look. If I were to do this again, I would use a tripod or steady surface and keep the camera in one place in order to make sure the photos were taken in the exact same place just without the sujects there. The second last photograph is my favourite of the shoot as it shows a more detailed outline of the subjects yet still keeps them transparent and blurred to keep the desolated theme running throughout yet giving the individual photographs some indiviuality and contrast.
