Textured | cacti

These are my final photo's for my photshoot based on Textured surfaces. I chose to photograph abstract everyday objects and surfaces to make the photo's intestering and thought provoking while still keeping them obvious enough to notice what they are like in Nic Miller's work. I wanted to take photo's of different surfaces to give the photos a running contrast and show the difference in detail. I chose to photograhy objects with more than one texture to link to the concept behind Cacti being spiky and smooth on the same surface. I decided to take macro photographs of objects to bring out all the detail in the images to show the most realistic surfaces that I could through photographs so that the viewer could easily imagine how the texture would feel on their skin.
